Chapter Summary: After Bram's pool party, Allison told Kaitlin she and Bram could look throught some old trunks of theirs, since she was in social history class. The trunks were full of diaries and journals of Maggie Crutchfield. Maggie and her sister Amanda were the ones who started it all. She found a baby blanket and started to cry.
Characters: Kailtin, Bram, Allison, Josh, Becky, the rest of their friends.
Character Developpent: Once looking thriugh the trunks, Kaitlin is doubtful. She feels that evrything her family has taught her about the Crutchfields are not true. She is trying to figure out who she really is.
 Quote: " I was afraid Maggie Crutchfield would reach out with her bony fingers and choke me." She thought this as she was trying to open the first trunk. It's crazy how much the two families hate eachother. That much that she thinks a dead lady would come and choke her.
