Chapter Summary: Caitlin had been spending a lot od time with Corinna. She found that they had a lot in common. One day during her photography class in the supermarket with Boo and her mother, Caitlin took one photo of an old women that both her and the teacher were really proud of. It was the day of the Winter Athletic Ceremony, and Rina was having a rough day because she had two boyfriends, and her one Bill, saw her and the other Jeremy together. Caitlin decided to stay with Rina instead of meeting Rogerson. But after the Ceremony, on their drive home, she found out it was a big deal, as he hit her across the face. She didn't have anyone to tell, as her parents were busy finally talking on the phone to Caitlin, so she went to Corinna's work (Applabees) to see her there.
Main Characters: Caitlin, her parents, Rogerson, Corinna, and Rina.
Character Developpement: Caitlin is now confused after what Rogerson did. She has no sister to tell, and she couldn't tell a friend or family. I think she is feeling sort of lost.
Setting: Mostly at the hihg school for the ceremony.
Quote:"But I couldn't tell her. Instead, i just let her walk me to the bar and sit me down before she wrapped her arms around me, drawing my face to her shoulder. She smelled like fried food and grilled peppers as she drew her fingers through my hair, telling me it was alright, all right now." This is what Corinna did as she saw Caitlin's swollen eye. It was nice because she kind of acted like the sister Caitlin didn't have right now.
