Chapter 3

Chapter Summary: Caitlin's best friend Rena convinces her to try out for the cheerleading team with her. She doesn't want to but gives in and ends up making the team. When she brings her costume home, her neighbour Boo is happy for her, but Caitlin knows she hates cheerleaders, but her mother on the other hand comes out of her misery and is ecstatic for her daughter.
Main Characters: Rena, Caitlin, her mother and father, Boo and Stewart.
Character Developpement: Caitlin is trying new things, like trying out for the cheerleading team. She is being braver.
Setting: Caitlin and Rena's school and Caitlin's house.
Quote: "Kick their butts," she said, standing up. "That's what Cass would do." Rena said this to Caitlin before the try outs to get her to do it. She told her to do what Cass would, Cailtlin asked what that was and this is what she said.
Vocabulary:Panful-the amount something (a pan) can hold.
